Booking
The booking process is simple and straightforward. Like my work? Send me an enquiry. Weāll set up a wee Zoom call and we can chat about your day. If you like me, Iāll send a contract and you can hold your date with a Ā£400 deposit.
Pre Wedding
Before your wedding, we will meet up and you can let me know all of your smashing plans for your day and formulate a plan of how I fit in. Youāll fill in a questionnaire so that I can best serve you on your day and fit right in.
Prep
Three hours before your ceremony, I will arrive at your venue or wherever one of you is getting ready. I capture details, and photograph your morning in a very documentary style.
Ceremony
Again, this is captured in a candid, documentary style. Your ceremony is shot in a discreet manner, whilst always getting the best angles, and always looking out for happy tears from your guests.
Post Ceremony
After your ceremony, I like to do group shots. Confetti is always very much encouraged at this point, and Iām always down for a big group shot of all your guests. During our pre wedding meeting, youāll have told me all of your important people and Iāll get them whipped into shape and into your photos. I encourage a maximum of around 10 group shots, because nobody wants to be standing in one spot with a Chandler Bing smile on their face for much longer. Just kidding, Iāll get some nice natural laughs out of you!
Coupleās Shoot
This is why weāre all here, right? So that your Granny Morag can have a photo of you guys on her mantlepiece. This is one of my favourite parts of your day. I take your lead on this. Most of my couples tell me that they donāt want to have all of their time away from their guests, and Iām down for that. I donāt like to keep you for much longer than around 20 minutes because I understand that your day is not a photoshoot. We can get some crackinā shots of you and have a great time whilst doing so. On the contrary, if you want to spend 2 hours taking photos, Iām also down. Just let me know how you want to do it, and weāll do that.
Speeches
This is captured in an entirely documentary style, with a mix of focussing on the top table and your guest reactions.
After Dinner
After dinner, and depending on the season and where the sun is in the sky, Iād love to take you out for a short shoot during golden hour. The light is so dreamy and beautiful at this time, and youāve likely had one or two more drinks, and are more relaxed and comfortable in front of a camera.
Partyyyyy
Youāll have your first dance and open the dance floor, and I freakinā love this part of your day. I love love love a party and love to see your guests cutting shapes and getting down. Iām able to document this creatively for you to look back on and see your best pals and great Aunt Ina ripping up that dance floor.
48 Hours Later
Within 48 hours (I try for 24 hours, but sometimes Iām shooting a wedding the very next day) I will deliver around 20 - 30 hand picked edited photographs for that all important social media announcement, or just to keep you going until you receive your entire gallery.
6 - 8 Weeks Later
You will receive your online gallery. From here, you are able to download in both low and high resolution. You can share your gallery with everyone that was at your wedding and further afield. You can print your own prints from your downloads, or you can order prints straight from your gallery which are printed by a high quality professional print lab and sent straight to you.
Albums
There is nothing I love more than printed photographs, especially printed photographs curated in their own high quality fine art beautiful albums. If you would like an album, it is as simple as choosing around 80 of your favourite photos from the day and then I will design your album layout. Once we have agreed on a layout, I will send the design to the printer and in around 4 weeks, you will have a beautiful heirloom fine art album that will outlast you for generations to come. You do not need to decide on an album straight away. You can contact me any time after your wedding to chat about albums.
